Spanish Version of White House Website Deleted Under President Trump

Its outrageous that Trump has deleted the website ?? 

We’re barely into the reign of President Donald Trump and already the man is making waves and sparking conversation around the world.

There’s a lot of dismay around the world at the prospect of what the tycoon-turned-president may or may not do, but there’s already plenty of reason for Spain to be ticked off as the Spanish version of the White House website has been deleted.

Attempting to load up the Spanish version of the website brings up an error page, with visitors unsure if the Spanish version of the site has been completely deleted under the Trump administration, or is just not being updated.

Even so, given that there are 52 Spanish speakers in the US, it seems careless to get rid of important information written in the first language of many people in the United States.

Spain is, of course, more than concerned about the pages being deleted. The Spanish Foreign Minister, Alfonso Dastis, spoke of his regret over the deletion of the Spanish version of the website, calling it a bad idea. He added that the reason it is a bad idea is because it cuts 52million Spanish speakers off from a vital communication tool.

There are 320 million people living in the United States, with around 37 million of them classified as Hispanic. It’s estimated that some 13 million Latin Americans voted in the November election; many of whom likely voted for the Democratic candidate Hilary Clinton.

The Spanish government issued a statement about the deleted service, reminding President Trump of how the Spanish language has played an important role in bringing together the multicultural North American society.

Trump made a number of disparaging remarks about Latin Americans during his presidential campaign, and many people are worried about the effect the Trump presidency could have on the Mexicans and Hispanics living in the United States.

To contrast the situation, former US president Barack Obama will be sending the first four weeks outside of the White House with his family in the home of the US Spanish ambassador; who resides in the pro-Latino community of Southern California.

There are some great things about Albert Square – there’s the local pub, the busy market, a café, a laundrette, and a train station that no one uses. Despite all these strengths it’s still nothing compared to the Costa del Sol.

With the Costa del Sol having one of the best climates

in the world and only 2.5 hours from the uk, it no wonder that

more and more stars are coming here.  

This is a fact that many, including actor Shane Richie, understand perfectly well. Shane is most-known for his portrayal of Alfie Moon in Eastenders. The Olive Press newspaper are now reporting that this 52 year old actor is looking for property in the Costa del Sol region and has been for a few months now.

It was believed that Richie wanted to find a beachside property in Calahonda but now he had his wife, Christie Goddard, are moving inland to take a look at some of the more traditional townhouses of Marbella.

Richard and Goddard married in 2007 and have three children together. No doubt a Costa del Sol property would make an excellent summer getaway for the family who are currently based in London.

Richie gained his love for Spain when he spent a lot of time in the Costa Brava while he was filming the hit ITV show Benidorm. An Olive Press source says that Richie wants to keep his options open. He would still prefer a property in Calahonda but he would be open to purchasing a villa, a townhouse, or a beachside property.

It’s not unheard of for popular British soap stars to find themselves falling in love with the Costa del Sol. Beverley Callard, known for playing Liz McDonald in Coronation Street, has been living along the coast for many years now. Richie’s fellow Eastenders actor Mike Reid, known for playing Frank Butcher, spent his final years in and around Marbella before he passed away in 2007.

There are a number of other TV stars who have lived in theCosta del Sol at some point or another including Cilla Black, Freddie Star, and Elliot Wright; former star of The Only Way is Essex.

Its a great time to buy property in the Costa del Sol as prices are rising

There is great news for Spanish property prices. They officially rose by just under 2% on average in 2015.

It’s taken nearly a decade to reach this point but Spanish house prices have officially turned an important corner.

This is actually the first time Spanish property prices have risen since 2007.

This news is important for both buyers and sellers of property or resale property in the Costa del Sol and the whole of Spain. Buyers benefit because they feel confident that even houses bought at bottom end prices are still part of this house price increase.

If you’re interested in selling your house then property prices rising makes it easier to sell your home, especially for the asking price you have in mind.

While the property prices in Spain have increased on an average there is a lot of variation between the house prices in the different regions of Spain.

The Costa del Sol for example has seen some of the best rises and also in the Balearics Islands, Mallorca, Ibiza and Malaga. Though there are also regions that are still experiencing price drops such as Almeria and Murcia.

Buyers are now in a can’t lose position in many areas. These house prices will never be as low as they are right now. This is the rock bottom price and fell from its highs in many areas from somewhere between 33-48% below the prices seen in 2007.

When you buy a house the value should rise quickly. House prices are expected to rise an average of 6% in 2016.

When you compare this to the interest gained by leaving your money in the bank instead and you can see that buyers and property investors are better off buying a property in areas like southern Spain.

Property investors are now flocking back to Spain to take advantage of these prices. International investment is a huge market at the minute with some funds getting involved in multi-million euro property investments.

But what about the average home owner in Spain who is interested in selling their house? The confidence that buyers are returning to the Spanish property are at the highest it’s been for a while. Foreign buyers in particular are investing in most of the properties that are being sold on the Costa del Sol and Balearics.

So it doesn’t matter where you live. All that matters is that your home is in a good condition. It should be at least as good as the other properties around you if you want to sell it.
